Michael Doran is a realist oil painter based in Scotland. Mostly self taught, but influenced by many and tutored by American realist artist Cindy Procious.
Michael's work explores household scenes and manufactured goods juxtaposed with his works on flowers. Incorporating a high degree of realism to illustrate the synthetic and artificial elements of our possessions that contrast with their surrounding natural forms.
